Production Foundations of Raw Material Bases Reinforced in Nampho Municipality

 Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- Nampho Municipality in the DPRK is directing great efforts to reinforcing the material and technical foundations of raw material bases.
This year alone, the municipality provided the district and county raw material base stations with a lot of farm machines and small- and medium-sized farm implements, built new production buildings of several workteams of raw material base stations, and created over 630 hectares of Evodia Daniellii Benn forests and over 10 hectares of rape cultivation area.
Onchon County built a raw material base station and organized technical studies, demonstrations and passing-on technique meetings to raise the level of scientific farming and the proportion of mechanization and bring into full play the enthusiasm of the masses.
Ryonggang County built new buildings of the workteams of its raw material base station in various areas and sent various farm implements.
Hanggu District has remodeled the production buildings of the workteams of its raw material base station and sent farming materials, and Chollima District is increasing the area under Evodia Daniellii Benn cultivation through mass movements.
Waudo and Taean districts secured high-yielding varieties of seeds of sugar- and oil-bearing crops of high economic value and have taken technical measures to increase the yields. -0-
