Prime Minister of Pakistan Announces US-Iran Peace Agreement 

   Riyadh, June 15, 2026, SPA -- Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif announced today that the United States and Iran had reached a peace agreement following intensive talks.
   In a post on X, he said: “After intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that a peace agreement has been reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both parties have announced the immediate and permanent end of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.”
   Sharif said the official signing ceremony will take place on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland.
   The prime minister expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the Republic of Türkiye, and for their significant contributions in this regard.
