Ambassador to Tunisia attends AI Forward Summit 2025

Tunis, Dec. 9 (BNA): Abdulaziz Mohammed Abdullah Al Eid, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Tunisia, represented Bahrain at the AI Forward Summit 2025, held under the theme "From Information Society towards Intelligence Society" at the Congress Palace in Tunis.
The summit aimed to enhance the role of the Arab world in shaping the global future of artificial intelligence, based on the Arab AI Initiative, and to build a sustainable and responsible system focused on knowledge exchange, coordinated efforts, and the development of shared policies and regulations to ensure the safe use of AI in the interests of the region’s people while keeping pace with global digital transformations.
The meeting issued a declaration reviewing 20 years of achievements of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), calling for multilateral cooperation, reducing the digital divide, supporting regional initiatives to foster innovation, empowering youth, creating knowledge exchange platforms in the Arab region, and ensuring that digital and automated transformations are ethical and geared towards sustainable development.
