SEA Games: Malaysian Bags MTB Cross Country Silver Medal After Close Battle

BANGKOK, Dec 11 (Bernama) -- National mountain bike (MTB) rider Zulfikri Zulkifli delivered a silver medal for the Malaysian contingent at the 2025 SEA Games after finishing second in the men’s cross country event at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi on Thursday.

Zulfikri clocked 1:35.277, just 3.587 seconds behind Indonesia’s Rendy Varera, who took gold.

The bronze medal went to the Philippines’ Mark Louwel, who recorded 1:41.859.

The silver marks the first medal for Malaysia’s MTB camp in this SEA Games edition.
