Kyrgyzstan, US to strengthen cooperation in combating crime

Bishkek, Dec, 11. 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nurbek Abdiev met with Melissa Crawford, Director of the department for combating International Drug Trafficking and law enforcement activities of the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the department, the parties discussed current areas of bilateral cooperation, including combating cybercrime, human trafficking, drug trafficking, and joint response to transnational threats.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the drug Trafficking service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Main department for international cooperation, and senior officers of the Main department for criminal investigation.
