The President Discusses With His Turkmen Counterpart Relations Between The Two Friendly Countries And Ways To Enhance Them In Various Fields

Baghdad /NINA/-President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met today, Thursday, with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to discuss relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.

A presidential statement indicated that the President met today, Thursday, in the capital, Ashgabat, with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as part of his official visit to participate in the International Forum on Peace and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (IFPC).

According to the statement, the meeting addressed relations between the two friendly countries and the importance of strengthening them in various fields to serve the interests of both peoples, in addition to a number of issues and files of common interest. /End
