Al-Baha Showcases Heritage and Sustainable Agriculture at King Abdulaziz Camel Festival

Al-Baha, December 10, 2025, SPA -- Under the directives of Al-Baha Region Governor Prince Hossam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Al-Baha Principality is participating in the 10th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival with a pavilion within the Ministry of Interior's Security Oasis exhibition.
The pavilion's focus is to showcase the role of camels in Al-Baha's history and its cultural and civilizational legacy, featuring various key sectors from the region. The Al-Baha Municipality highlights its efforts in urban development, infrastructure, and the enhancement of the region's distinctive architectural heritage.
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Al-Baha branch is presenting its sustainable agriculture initiatives, including the specialized projects known as coffee city, pomegranate city, and grape city, which aim to develop and capitalize on regional resources.
A dedicated section features Thee Ain Historical Village, showcasing its rich history, unique architecture, and traditional handicrafts such as palm frond weaving and wool spinning, alongside the cultivation of Shadawi coffee.
The pavilion also offers visitors local dishes and screened documentaries focused on development and tourism in the area. This participation aims to introduce Al-Baha's diverse heritage and rich cultural legacy, fulfilling the main objectives of the festival.
