Bahrain condemns terror plots targeting Morocco

Manama, Jul. 6 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the malicious terrorist plots that targeted the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the vigilance and efficiency of the Moroccan security and intelligence services in thwarting these criminal plans, exposing their links to the "Daesh" terrorist organisation in the African Sahel region, and taking legal action against those involved.

Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with Morocco and its total support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and national achievements. This stance reflects the deep-rooted, longstanding ties between the leaderships and people of both nations.

The ministry reiterated Bahrain's unwavering stance against all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism. It called for enhanced regional and international cooperation to combat terrorism and dry up its financial, intellectual, and organisational sources, thereby fostering global peace and stability.
