HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the CEO of DHL Express

Manama, Jul. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with John Pearson, Chief Executive Officer of DHL Express, at Gudaibia Palace.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the strategic role of the Kingdom’s logistics sector, noting that enhancing its competitiveness through continued infrastructure development supports the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness highlighted the partnership between the Kingdom and DHL Express and commended the ongoing efforts that are advancing Bahrain’s logistics sector.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also commented on the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with leading global specialised logistics companies, that will further position Bahrain as a leading and attractive global logistics hub.

For his part, DHL Express CEO John Pearson expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s efforts to further enhance cooperation between the Kingdom and DHL.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DHL Express Bahrain, also attended the meeting.
