Defence Minister graduation of 18th Joint Command and Staff Course

Manama, Jul. 7 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the graduation ceremony of the 18th Joint Command and Staff Course was held today at the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College.
His Majesty the King deputised Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), delegated Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, to attend the ceremony.
The event featured a presentation on the course, followed by addresses by the Commandant of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College and representatives of the graduating officers.
In his address, the Minister highlighted the Bahrain Defence Force's continued progress under the leadership of His Majesty the King, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the guidance of the BDF Commander-in-Chief. He also praised the college's leadership and academic staff for their efforts in preparing highly qualified military officers.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the minister presented Master of Military Science degrees to graduates of the 18th Joint Command and Staff Course, which included officers from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, as well as officers from Bahrain's National Guard and Ministry of Interior.
The ceremony was attended by senior Bahrain Defence Force officers, members of the diplomatic corps of the participating countries and military attachés.
