North Hwanghae Province Creates New Generating Capacity

 Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the project for building an ultra-anthracite power plant and solar electric station simultaneously, which are of great significance in settling the shortage of electricity in the region, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The province has pushed forward the construction of dwelling houses for the evacuees and employees as a leading process for the construction of the ultra-anthracite power plant since April.
An arrangement of the area is being accelerating to build a ring road on the surrounding hill near the power plant and install the solar panels in the area of tens of thousand of square meters. 
Technicians in the province are working hard to establish a stable and efficient power generation and supply system centering on the Ryesonggang Power Station, the ultra-anthracite power plant and the solar electric station. -0-
