SJC agrees on nomination of eight judges in Supreme Court
SANA'A, July 18
(Saba)-Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) approved on Saturday a nomination of eight
judges in the Supreme
Court.
Headed by the SJC chairman Esam al-Samawi, the council asked the head of the
Supreme Court to finalize legal measures to appoint these judges.
The council also agreed on a plan of judicial movement for courts and prosecutions
based on a memorandum of the justice minister, which includes 17 judges of appeal
courts,
92 judges of members of the courts, and heads of judicial inspection at prosecutions
as well as 21 heads of appeal prosecutions.
The SJC also discussed a memorandum of the minister of justice related to
appointing eight judges in the judicial inspection body.
