Women in S. Hwanghae Province Dedicate Themselves to Patriotic Work
Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Women's union members in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are contributing to the prosperity of the country through a revolutionary mass movement.
In the first half of the year alone, many women in the province volunteered to work at the worksites bubbling over with the enthusiasm for increased production and economization. They have devoted their patriotic sweat to the agricultural production in every farm field of the province, the country's largest agricultural one.
Women's union members in the counties of Jangyon and Paechon volunteered to work at raw materials bases.
Tens of women's union members in the city of Haeju, who volunteered to work at the school uniform factory, were honoured with the title of model workers, and women in Jaeryong and Sinchon counties have become agricultural workers at the socialist rural community.
Amid a brisk mass campaign to do good deeds, many women's union organizations in the province raised a lot of silkworms. As a result, they produced much more cocoons as compared with the same period of last year.
The women in the province are dedicating themselves to the patriotic work of consolidating the cornerstone of our state by following the example of communist mothers and meritorious persons of socialist patriotism. -0-
