Youths in Railway Transport Sector Volunteer to Work at Major Worksites

 Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Tens of young people in the railway transport sector of the DPRK have volunteered for major posts to consolidate the material and technical foundations of the railways.
Those at the Tanchon and Sinuiju railway branch offices advanced into mobile youth companies for railway mechanization.
Those at the Pyongyang Railway Bureau volunteered to work at the railway construction corps, and those at the Hamhung Railway Bureau and Hyesan and Kilju railway branch offices petitioned vowed to work at sleeper production station and railway welding station.
A meeting was held at the Cultural Hall of the Ministry of Railways on July 13 to congratulate the volunteers.
Present there were officials of the Ministry of Railways, youth league officials and young people in the railway transport. At the meeting, the volunteers were awarded certificates, and congratulatory addresses and a resolution-making speech were made.
After the meeting, officials and young people presented bouquets to the volunteers and saw them off. -0-
