Ambassador to Qatar extends condolences on passing of HH Father Amir of Qatar

Manama, Jul. 14 (BNA): Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador to the State of Qatar, extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, the Al Thani family, and the people of Qatar on the passing of the Father Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Ambassador Al Ghatam said that Qatar has lost a distinguished leader whose name will remain closely associated with defining milestones in the country's modern history. He noted that the late Father Amir led a comprehensive national transformation that strengthened the foundations of development and enhanced Qatar's regional and international standing.
He added that Father Amir's legacy will endure through Qatar's achievements in economic development, education, scientific research, sports, and culture, reflecting his lasting contributions to the country's progress.
The Ambassador also paid tribute to the late Father Amir's role in strengthening the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Qatar, as well as his contributions to advancing Gulf cooperation and integration through the Gulf Cooperation Council, guided by his belief in the shared destiny of its member states.
He further commended Father Amir's contributions to Arab and Islamic causes and his commitment to promoting solidarity and cooperation in support of regional security, stability, and development.
