National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Architectural Construction and Construction Machinery

 Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) --  A national sci-tech presentation in the field of architectural construction and construction machinery took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on July 14 and 15 under the sponsorship of the Korean Construction Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Its theme was "Putting construction on scientific and modern basis".
Attending it were scientists, technicians and field officials of various units including the Pyongyang Construction Commission, the Ministry of State Construction Control, the State Academy of Sciences and Pyongyang University of Architecture. Dozens of papers were submitted to the presentation.
The presentation highly appreciated such papers as the study of dynamic characteristics of the layered-detached reinforced concrete structure to be built on the slope, the freight elevator for construction and the optimum design method of skyscraper. -0-
