Young People in DPRK Volunteer for Major Worksites of Socialist Construction

 Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- Young people in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK volunteered for major worksites of socialist construction.
Those in Chongjin City and Musan, Orang and Kyongsong counties volunteered for construction brigades and raw material base stations, and those in Hoeryong City and Kilju and Myongchon counties for farms and road repair and management teams.
A meeting was held in Chongjin City on July 14 to congratulate the volunteers.
At the meeting attended by officials concerned, youth league officials, volunteers and youth and students, petition certificates were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address and resolution-taking speeches were made.
After a congratulatory performance was given, officials, youth and students presented bouquets to the volunteers and saw them off. -0-
