Short Course for Participants in SWUK Congress

 Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- There took place a short course for the participants in the Eighth Congress of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea.
Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, read out the instructions given by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the women's union work.
Then a lecture was given. It stressed the need for all the participants to keep in mind the great trust and expectation of the Party and dynamically conduct the women's union work so as to fulfill their responsibility and role in the efforts for implementing the Party's decisions.
The lecture also underlined the need for all the women's union members to act as one under the Party's unified leadership and steadily intensify the work to establish iron discipline.
It urged the participants to improve their working style and manner, acquire the qualities and traits befitting a political worker and play a core and vanguard role in bringing about a fundamental turn in the women's union work.
The lecture called on the women's union officials to be upright and honest in work and life with proper viewpoint on the masses and moral character and to encourage the women's union members to implement the Party's lines and policies by setting examples.
There was a training session for the chairwomen of the provincial, city and county committees of the women's union. -0-
