Young People Meet with War Veterans

 Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Youth and students in Jagang Province of the DPRK held a meeting with war veterans on July 16 on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
At the meeting, the war veterans said that the miraculous victory won by the DPRK in the Fatherland Liberation War is the victory of the outstanding military idea, Juche-based war methods and superb strategy and tactics of President Kim Il Sung and a brilliant fruition of patriotism and staunch spirit of defending the country displayed by the army and people rallied close around the leader.
They told about the feats they performed in the days when they defeated the aggressors while breaking through the flames of fierce battles with the love for their grateful social system, hometowns, workplaces and parents and siblings and the hatred for the enemies trying to deprive them of all.
They called upon the younger generation to glorify their youth on the road of defending the country, deeply mindful of the truth of history that only when they fight with powerful force can they defend the sovereignty of the country and the happiness of the people.
Young speakers expressed their resolve to devote their all to the sacred road of defending the country like the war veteran generation and perform miracles and feats with youthful vigor and mass heroism in every field for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The war veterans handed over the national flag of the DPRK, calling upon all the youth and students to uphold the ideology and leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un with single-minded loyalty. -0-
