Moon and Venus Align in Saudi Skies

   Turaif, July 18, 2026, SPA -- The skies over Saudi Arabia witnessed a conjunction of the waxing crescent moon and Venus this evening.
   Visible to the naked eye along the western horizon after sunset, the periodic alignment occurred due to the regular orbital movements of the moon and planets.
   Skywatchers documented the twilight event using smartphones and digital cameras, while binoculars provided a clearer view of the crescent's details and earthshine on the unlit portion of the moon.
