President Kim Il Sung Remembered in Russia

 Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Such memorial events as a seminar on exploits and a book and photo exhibition took place at the Maritime Territorial, Amur Regional and Khabarovsk Territorial branch committees of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity and other political parties, organizations and institutions in Russia on July 7 and 8 to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of relevant units and masses.
The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation praised President Kim Il Sung as the founder of socialist Korea, eternal president of the DPRK, outstanding leader of the Korean revolution and the cause of independence against imperialism, great teacher of progressive mankind, peerless elder statesman and great master of independent politics, stressing that he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives for his great exploits for the times and history.
The first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said:
The august name of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the most prominent leader in the 20th century and peerlessly great man who made immortal contributions to the accomplishment of the cause of global independence, is deeply cherished in the minds of mankind.
The eye-opening development of the DPRK would have been unthinkable without his wise leadership.
It is one of his exploits that he laid a firm foundation for the traditional Russia-DPRK friendly relations and handed them down to posterity.
The chairwoman and the vice chairman of the Party for Peace and Unity and the chairperson of the Khabarovsk Youth Association for the Study of the Juche Idea praised President Kim Il Sung as the founder of the glorious Democratic People's Republic of Korea, distinguished political activist and the greatest man who ushered in the era of independence by founding the Juche idea.
The chairperson of the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity"  and the chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the Korean people are dynamically advancing along the road of independent development under the wise leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward Comrade Kim Il Sung's ideology and cause of the anti-imperialist independence, though the U.S. and other imperialists are carrying on the whole gamut of intrigues to stifle the DPRK. They expressed their determination to strive to further develop the equally-beneficial cooperation and strategic relations with the DPRK, a fraternal state and friendly neighbor. -0-
