Sangwon Cement Complex in DPRK Makes Labor Achievements

 Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The Sangwon Cement Complex in the DPRK has achieved proud successes in implementing the Workers' Party of Korea policy through the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
The complex applied various forms and ways in conducting the ideological education aimed at emulating the fighting spirit and traits of the preceding generations.
It put production and management activities on a modern, scientific and IT basis of higher level while putting spurs to fulfilling the cement production plan.
It considerably increased the production capacity by modernizing the cement production lines in a scientific and technological way.
The Sangwon Limestone Mine applied effective blasting technique and a way of producing ores through an open storage ground, and the Samchong Mine manufactured an efficient hydraulic loader to increase productivity. These are outcome of the technological revolution.
Through a mass technical innovation campaign, more than 100 valuable technological innovations have been made and applied every year. As a result, progress was made in the supply of cement for major construction projects.
The complex won a high appreciation at national sci-tech festivals and exhibitions, becoming one of the top ten IT model units and the ten best enterprises.
Last year it successfully carried out the task of producing hundreds of thousands of more tons of cement set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea.
Through the cultural revolution, the complex ensured that all the employees acquire a broad knowledge and a high level of cultural attainment in order to create and enjoy a new civilization. And it has established a revolutionary and optimistic way of work and life.
The complex was awarded Order of Kim Il Sung and Order of Kim Jong Il in the course of the efforts to implement the Party's line of the three revolutions.
In March last, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Sangwon Cement Complex before others right after the Party Congress and extended warm thanks on behalf of the Party Central Committee to all its workers, technicians and officials displaying the strength of the Korean working class and the advancing spirit of socialism. -0-
