Bishkek will celebrate New Year without fireworks

Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2025. /Kabar/. This year, Bishkek will host New Year without fireworks, Bishkek city administration told Kabar.

According to the municipality, a festive concert featuring local artists will be held in the central Ala-Too Square on December 31 at 6:00 PM. The event will take place without fireworks.

Earlier, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision called for ban on New Year's fireworks displays in order to protect the environment and ensure environmental safety.
