Performance Given to Celebrate Anniversary of War Victory Day

 Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers gave a performance "We Will Glorify Forever the Tradition of the Great Victory" at the Kwail County Hall of Culture in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK on July 23 to celebrate 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Among the audience were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the C.C., UAWK, officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers and union members in the county.
Put on the stage of the performance, which began with chorus "July 27, Our Victory Day", were colorful numbers including male solo and pangchang "Three Years of War" and female duet "Victory Mill of Jiktong Pass".
Through mixed chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", the performers sang high praises of the immortal feats of the peerlessly great man who demonstrated the dignity of the country before the world by leading the Fatherland Liberation War to victory with his unique military idea, strategy and tactics and outstanding commanding art.
Also put on the stage were the numbers reflecting the boundless happiness and pride of holding in high esteem the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is ushering in a new era of self-respect and prosperity, the era of our state-first principle, on this land and glorifying the ever-victorious history and tradition of Juche Korea for all ages.
In such numbers as story-based singing "Rural Rejuvenation", the performers represented the strong desire of the agricultural workers to support and glorify the motherland with bumper harvest, following the work style of the preceding generations. -0-
