Women's Union Officials and Members Meet Hero of Republic

 Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the women's union in the DPRK met a hero of the Republic at the Hall of Women on July 24 on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials of the women's union and its members in Pyongyang.
Hero of the Republic Ho Ryong, a lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, said at the meeting that the young Korean People's Army could develop into the elite ranks, defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world during our Fatherland Liberation War and recording only victory in the decades-long confrontation with the U.S.-led imperialists. This is because our revolutionary armed forces held in high esteem the great brilliant commander and peerlessly great men in their van, he added.
Noting that the tradition of victory of Juche Korea is being firmly carried forward thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, he requested all the officials and members of the women's union to prepare themselves as genuine patriotic women and communist mothers who make positive contributions to the prosperity of the country and lead the correct growth of the new generations.
Speakers expressed their resolve to become true women revolutionaries pushing forward the comprehensive development of our country with pure conscience and boundless devotion, true to the spirit of defending the country cherished by the heroes of the preceding generation. -0-
