Art and Literature Publishing House Marks Its 80th Founding Anniversary

 Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Art and Literature Publishing House marked its 80th founding anniversary.
Even though President Kim Il Sung was so busy building a new country, he saw to it that the cultural front company, the predecessor of the Art and Literature Publishing House, was founded, thus opening a new history of revolutionary art and literature publications.
With a deep insight into the position and role of the Art and Literature Publishing House in organizing and mobilizing the broad masses for the gigantic revolutionary struggle, Chairman Kim Jong Il clearly indicated the tasks and ways for the publishing house in each period of the developing revolution.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un energetically led the work to give wide publicity to the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's Juche-oriented idea and policy on art and literature and edit and publish good books showing the glorious revolutionary history of the peerlessly great men.
A meeting was held at the Chollima Hall of Culture on July 24.
Present there were officials concerned and officials, journalists, editors and employees of the publishing house.
