"Maebongsan"-branded Shoes Favoured by People

 Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- "Maebongsan"-branded shoes are popular among the people of the DPRK.
All men and women, young or old, like the "Maebongsan"-branded shoes because they are light, convenient to wear and diverse in colour and types.
The shoes are produced by the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory in Kangwon Province.
The factory always finds the ways to improve the quality of products on the basis of feedback from customers, while focusing on developing new designs and products suitable for men and women in specific age groups.
The factory was once a small one.
On July 25, 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the factory. At that time he stressed the need to keep production going at a high rate and wage a dynamic campaign to produce many convenient, smart, light and durable seasonal shoes of various kinds.
He made sure that the shoes are brought out with the brand "Maebongsan" symbolizing the high spirit and victory of the Korean people and the service personnel of the People's Army, and called for renovating the factory as early as possible.
Fiver months later, the factory turned into a model and standard factory of the national footwear industry.
