Hundreds of Sci-tech Achievements Patented in DPRK This Year

 Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- Hundreds of valuable scientific and technological achievements have been patented this year, according to Rodong Sinmun.
Many inventions were made to consolidate the production foundations of the key industrial sectors of the national economy including metal, chemical, electric power, coal and machine-building industries.
Many intellectual creations of great significance were developed and introduced to develop agricultural production including the light control system of cylindrical vegetable cultivation apparatus and walking sprayer.
There are also many patented inventions conducive to modernizing the production lines in the light industrial establishments and improving the quality of their products, including the non-contact three-dimensional human body measuring system.
Technological achievements of diverse themes and weighty significance were registered as patented inventions, for they contribute to the health promotion and material and cultural life of the people in the sectors of public health, sports and ecological environment protection.
The Musan Mining Complex, the Kangso Spray Factory and other units have made valuable scientific and technological achievements for development.
Automatic drain gate for fish ponds, cylindrical separator and gypsum-free cement production method, associated with the creativity and enthusiasm of ordinary citizens, will contribute to the economic and social development of the country. -0-
