War Veterans Leading Worthwhile Life in DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The DPRK people are significantly celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
On this occasion, all the people across the country extend warm congratulations to the war veterans who demonstrated before the world the indomitable spirit of heroic Korea by dedicating their youth and lives during the war.
The victorious wartime generation is the war participants and victors of the great years who, under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung, honorably defended the DPRK in the hard-fought three-year Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces.
The war veterans in the DPRK are enjoying a worthwhile life under the care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has shown all kinds of love, putting forward them as admirable heroes and genuine patriots who devotedly defended the country and people, and as precious treasures of the country incomparable with gold and silver.
The noble image of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who made a bow before the victors of the great years in the celebrations of the war victory, is deeply cherished in the people's mind.
Whenever conferences of war veterans were held, the war veterans across the country came to Pyongyang with decorations by special planes, special trains, ships and buses, thanks to the measures taken by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
The General Secretary made meaningful speeches at the conferences of war veterans, provided grand banquets for them and had photo sessions with them.
The war veterans have regularly spent a pleasant time every year at the sanatoriums wonderfully built in different parts of the country under the care of the Party and the state.
Thanks to the benevolent loving care shown by the Party which puts forward all the war veterans as models to be followed by everyone, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum could be built as a seat of victory conveying to the world the heroic feats of the victorious wartime generation and their noble spirit of defending the country and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery as a monument of the times.
It is one of the national traits of the DPRK to put forward the war veterans, treat them warmly and sincerely take care of them so that they do not feel any inconvenience in their lives. -0-
