Proactive Sci-tech Activities Conducted in Mining Industrial Sector of DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The mining industrial sector of the DPRK is conducting sci-tech activities aimed at attaining a new long-term goal.
The December 5 Youth Mine made and installed an impeller through proactive technical discussions and research for the normal operation of production lines, thus increasing the repair cycle of crystallizer and increasing the productivity. 
Yongyu and Jungsan mines made an efficient thickener by themselves and improved major technical indices, thus laying a foundation with the capacity of increasing daily output more than twice than before.
The Kangson Mining Machine Parts Factory established a solar energy generation system to ensure the smoothness of production lines of hard alloy for drilling machine bit head. Through this system, the factory made progress in the management and operation of the factory and producing the goods.
Unhung and Haeju smelters are pushing forward with the technical preparations and drawing up technical assignments in order to establish the lines of smelting copper and producing zinc roasting-sulfuric acid. -0-
