National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Land and Maritime Transport Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of land and maritime transport took place at Nampho Port on July 29 and 30 under the sponsorship of the Korean Land and Maritime Transport Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Attending the presentation were officials, teachers and researchers of many units including the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Rajin University of Marine Transport and Nampho College of Maritime Transport.
Presented and discussed there were more than 90 papers.
The papers on the optimum design of a dock crane boom system and the design of the hull structure of a 100-ton stone barge were highly appreciated.
There took place a lecture on the "Trend of the development of unmanned electric container lorry" during the presentation.
