Crime of Japan, Sworn Enemy of Korean Nation

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The Korean war ignited by the U.S. imperialists in the early 1950s of the last century was a war of massacre and destruction which inflicted untold misfortune and pain upon the Korean people.
The Japanese militarists, who had been involved in cooperation for mapping out the plan for the criminal war of aggression, examined all the documents of the general staff of the Japanese imperialist aggressor forces, which had been kept secret after their defeat, under the direction of the U.S. imperialists.
The U.S. imperialists' plan for the war of aggression against the DPRK, completed in collusion with the Japanese militarists, was submitted to the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff without any significant amendments.
The Japanese militarists also cooperated with the U.S. imperialists in mapping out the plan for intelligence against the DPRK. They made a thorough examination of the whereabouts and duties of the spies in the DPRK, the possibility of their activities and the contact system in case of war, and hatched a plot to dispatch spies on a large scale under the instructions from the U.S. imperialists.
The Japanese militarists, who tried to mobilize even religious believers in spy activities, supported the puppet ROK army which served as cannon fodder for the war of the U.S. imperialists in every way.
In 1948, scores of former Japanese imperialist aggressor officers were sent to the puppet ROK to help the puppet armed forces in their operation and training. In April 1950, they taught the puppet army officers how to commit assassination.
Meanwhile, a unit of Eiichiro Gondo, former vice admiral of the Japanese imperialist aggressor forces, and a unit of the lieutenant colonel Sawai Tetsubi arrived at the puppet ROK after undergoing various special training by the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces. Other units girded themselves for the Korean war.
The Japanese militarists, under the control of the U.S. imperialists, planned germ warfare to brutally massacre the Korean people in case of the outbreak of the Korean war.
The crimes, committed by the Japanese militarists in cooperation with the U.S. imperialists in their preparations for a war of aggression against the DPRK, constitute an atrocity adding new crimes to the crimes already committed against the Korean people during their colonial rule over Korea. -0-
