Quality and Variety of Consumer Goods Raised in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The production units in the light industry sector of Jagang and Ryanggang provinces are improving the quality of regional-industry products and expanding their varieties.
Presented to an ongoing exhibition of consumer goods in Jagang Province were tens of thousands of products of over 900 kinds produced by over 170 consumer goods production units in the province.
The venue of the exhibition are decorated with the goods produced by the newly-built regional-industry factories in Tongsin, Usi, Janggang and Rangnim counties with locally available raw materials.
Various consumer goods presented by the Jangjasan General Foodstuff Factory, the Kanggye Winery and the Kanggye Knitwear Factory are drawing attention of visitors.
There was a light-industry goods show in Ryanggang Province.
On display at the show were tens of thousands of consumer goods of over 300 kinds. Visitors were interested in varieties of quality foodstuffs, washing soaps, water soaps, shampoos, conditioners, plastic goods and woodworks produced by modern regional-industry factories.
The Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory, the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory and the Hyesan Essential Plastic Goods Production Company have increased the variety of new products which can represent the relevant regions and units.
Kapsan and Paegam counties have also produced their specialties. -0-
