Hyesan City in Ryanggang Province Given Facelift

 Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Ryanggang Province is directing efforts to sprucing up Hyesan City.
In order to renew the appearance of Hyesan as befits a border gateway city, the province set stepwise plans in a realistic way. It has given precedence to the supply of materials while launching an information campaign and rationally organizing construction and labour forces.
The officials and workers of the construction units, involved in the reconstruction and renovation project, have carried out their daily plans, meeting the requirements of construction methods.
Thanks to their efforts, the appearance of the flats in the central part of the city and over 100 neighborhood-serving amenities were renewed.
Special bus stops have been built in different parts of the city to meet the public convenience and street lamps newly installed.
Needle-leaf-trees and flower shrubs were planted at the provincial three-revolution exhibition house and the Hyesan Park.
The province is paying attention to providing the inhabitants with a clean ecological environment and cultural and emotional life by newly installing thousands of meters of water pipes and repairing the infrastructure.
All people's neighborhood units are involved in beautifying the city. -0-
