DPRK Premier Inspects Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and Posan Iron Works

 Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field survey of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and the Posan Iron Works.
The premier visited the electric locomotive complex and encouraged its workers making innovations in carrying out the important policy tasks of the complex, true to the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
The premier acquainted himself in detail with the production of rolling stock of various kinds, the upgrading of the plating process and the operation safety of the newly manufactured tram and the quality of its fittings. He stressed the needs for the officials and workers to know well the height of creation required by the new era, further raise the qualitative level of manufacturing rolling stock and turn the plating shop into a comprehensive and modern plating base.
At the Posan Iron Works, Pak Thae Song said that the officials and workers should attain their production targets without fail by directing efforts to the management of equipment and technical control and increasing the number of operating days of the rotary kiln in keeping with the ever-increasing demand for the iron and steel.
The field consultative meetings discussed the issue for the relevant sectors and units to produce and supply equipment and materials necessary for the modernization of the plating process and the production of rolling stock at the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex, the issue of giving preferential treatment to the technicians and skilled workers of the iron works and improving the supply service for its employees, etc. -0-
