Thai PM Welcomes Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing on Official Visit

BANGKOK, Aug 6 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul received Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing on an official visit as a guest of the government.
Upon arrival at Government House, the Prime Minister led the Myanmar leader through an official welcoming ceremony and an inspection of the guard of honor, followed by a joint photograph at the main staircase of the Thai Khu Fah Building.

The two leaders then held a small-group bilateral meeting to exchange views on enhancing cooperation, covering issues such as cross-border challenges, energy, trade facilitation, and the promotion of border peace and stability, prior to expanded discussions with full delegations.
The Prime Minister and the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar are also scheduled to witness the signing and exchange of agreements and memorandums of understanding, alongside a handover ceremony for assistance. - 819 (TNA)
