Crime of Japan, Sworn Enemy of Korean Nation

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionary government, which had cooperated with the U.S. imperialists in their preparations for a war to invade Korea for a long time, set the issue of its participation in the war as a national policy as soon as the Korean war broke out and joined the war.
On July 4, 1950, a week after the outbreak of the Korean war, then Japanese Prime Minister Yoshida officially declared the support to the U.S. imperialists, the chieftain of the Korean war.
The Japanese militarists offered their territory to the US. Army to use it as dispatch, logistic and supply bases which the member states of the "UN Forces" can not perform by mobilizing all their military and economic potentials.
French newspaper L'Humanite said that the Japanese authorities, at the call of the U.S., sent 200 former generals and officers of the Imperial Japanese Army to the front line immediately after the outbreak of the Korean war (June 25, 1950).
Foreign reports said that the number of Japanese troops who participated in the Korean war in July of that year amounted to 25 000.
The Japanese reactionaries had mobilized almost all the combat forces of the services and arms in the war.
They placed their pilots of the imperial army in U.S. imperialists' B-26 and B-17 planes to transport military supplies and drop bombs. They even mobilized 50 Japanese warships and 2 000 crewmen to join in the Inchon landing operation of the U.S. imperialists.
The Japanese noncombatant "technicians", too, backed the U.S. military actions in the fields of railway transport, communications, harbor, etc. in the puppet ROK.
The Japanese germ experts gave lectures on the use of germ weapons and their dropping and made a field survey of the results for several tens of times in the puppet ROK. The said facts are recorded as the one page of crimes in the Korean war history.
In June 1952, the Japanese reactionary government played the role as a top-class belligerent state with nearly 400 large-scale factories involved in the production of munitions. They established a wartime system in the transport sector and mobilized all the means of transportation in carrying military supplies and troops. From July to October 1950, they carried 995 800 tons of the U.S. military supplies by mobilizing 248 warships in the Korean war.
All the facts are part of the evidence that Japan is the top-class belligerent state in the Korean war. -0-
