Efforts Paid to Training Promising Taekwon-Do Players

 Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Taekwon-Do teaching and reserves training units across the DPRK conduct the teaching and training in an innovative way to train many promising players.
The units have introduced effective training methods to improve jumping ability, flexibility and reaction speed, thus preparing players to perform diverse technical movements.
Theoretical education on methodological issues are given so that students can apply techniques on their own way. Efforts are also directed to creatively introducing training means conducive to improving various striking techniques.
The units have applied teaching methods conducive to rounding off various kicking movements and conducted functional physical training in various forms and methods to improve the physical and technical abilities of students.
They are also striving to put the organizing and guidance of teaching and training on a more scientific basis. -0-
