National Games of Sports Schools

 Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The 62nd National Games of Sports Schools took place in the capital city of Pyongyang and cities of Phyongsong, Sariwon, Wonsan and Kaechon from July 15 to August 15.
The games brought together students selected from provinces, cities and counties (districts). The players competed with each other in more than 20 events including football, basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, athletics, boxing, weightlifting and diving.
A closing ceremony was held in Hongwon County on August 15 with the attendance of officials concerned and players.
Cups and medals were awarded to the teams and players that proved successful in the volleyball game. -0-
