Iran provides AI training to 4 million students
Tehran, IRNA – Education Minister Alireza Kazemi says special artificial intelligence (AI) training courses have been held for about 4 million students during difficult wartime conditions.
Speaking on Tuesday at the third day of a conference of provincial education chiefs, Kazemi said the ministry’s key programs also include the Iran Digital initiative, coding, programming, and promoting AI education.
He said empowering teachers was another major priority, noting that 250,000 teachers have received AI-related training.
Kazemi said Iran’s education system had pursued two major policies over the past year: “justice” and “quality.” He added that major achievements had been made under both policies with the government’s support.
He also announced the construction of nearly 2,400 educational facilities containing 24,000 classrooms.
Other measures included standardizing 50,000 classrooms, renovating more than 150,000 classrooms, and equipping schools with modern technologies.
