National Workshop Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- A national workshop for teachers in the field of training Party cadres took place in Pyongyang on August 19 and 20.
Attending it were officials, teachers and researchers from the Party schools at all levels, including the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea, and relevant officials of the WPK Central Committee, the provincial, city and country Party committees and the Party committees guiding the Party schools directly under them.
The workshop dealt with the ideo-theoretical and methodological issues to be adhered to by the Party schools at all levels in adding luster to the original name of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist school, the political school of Comrade Kim Jong Un, and boosting the level of education and improving its environment and climate as required by the times of comprehensive development.
Ju Chang Il, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, made an opening address.
When the workshop was declared open, the national anthem of the DPRK was played.
Choe Chang Hak, first vice-department director of the WPK Central Committee, made a report on reviewing the work of the Party schools at all levels to implement the important tasks respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth at the inaugural and opening ceremonies of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK.
The reporter noted that the respected Comrade General Secretary clarified the original idea that the historic cause for succession starts to advance from the "pedigree farm" for training reserve cadres of the Party to its completion, defined it as the fundamental mission of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK to train diligent and enthusiastic revolutionaries of ideal and firm faith, armed with the Party's original ideals and spirit, and put forward other important principles and tasks for improving the work of the Party schools.
The report referred to a series of shortcomings revealed in the work of some Party schools in the past and strictly analyzed their main causes.
The reporter called upon all the attendants to more creditably train many more Party cadre talents, passionate reserve cadres permeated with the red flag idea capable of reliably carrying forward the great historic cause - the strengthening of the whole Party and the comprehensive national rejuvenation - true to the Party cadres training idea and policy in the new era clarified by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Then lectures were given.
The lectures stressed the need to firmly arm with the idea and spirit of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's speech made on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK.
They dealt with the issue for holding fast to the work of more firmly establishing the monolithic leadership system of the WPK Central Committee as the key point of the Party cadres training.
They called for preparing the students to be true officials possessed of the Party's outlook on the people and specialist qualifications.
And they emphasized that it is important for the Party schools to take the lead in steadily exploring and introducing advanced educational contents and methods befitting the new era of national prosperity and improve the educational administration in order to powerfully promote the country's overall education development.
They also laid emphasis on the issue of further enhancing the responsibility and role of the teachers and officials at the Party schools in the efforts to train the Party cadres in the new era.
The attendants more keenly realized the noble intention of the Party Central Committee which gives top priority to the Party cadres training and acquired the principled issues and innovative methodologies for improving the education of the Party schools. -0-
