Training Course for Chairpersons of Youth League Committees in Cities and Counties of DPRK
Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- A training course for chairpersons of the youth league committees in cities and counties took place at the hall of the youth league from August 17 to 20.
The course dealt with the practical issues arising in developing the work of the youth league by further strengthening the functions and role of the youth league committees in cities and counties and thus making the coming five years the signal period of injecting vitality into the Korean youth movement.
The speakers referred to the tasks and ways for more thoroughly establishing the monolithic leadership system of respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un across the league and preparing all young people as ardent vanguard fighters remaining faithful to the idea and cause of the Party.
They called for organizing and conducting youth shock brigade activities with the main emphasis on kindling the flames of the drive for increased production and creation at every worksite of socialist construction and thus steadily boosting the revolutionary spirit and patriotic enthusiasm of the young people.
They called upon the officials of the union to prepare themselves to be true youth officials desired by the Party as required by the comprehensive development of socialism.
Speeches made at the training course dealt with the successes and experience gained by officials of the youth league at all levels in their work.
During the training course, the participants visited educational bases in Pyongyang and held a question-and-answer study contest. -0-
