Efforts Made to Improve Teachers' Qualifications

 Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- A short course aimed at implementing a new education program were given at the teachers' retraining institutes in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
The short course dealt with the scientific and practical issues of helping teachers to improve their qualifications.
The lecturers explained the ways of using the effective and superior teaching techniques with multimedia programs and teaching aids.
They gave lectures with the excellent teaching methods based on the modern educational science and technique.
The institutes helped all the teachers to acquire an extensive knowledge of specialties and specialty-related subjects while making them attend classes as observers and organizing discussion on teaching methods to develop their educational judgment. -0-
