Kumsong Tractor Factory

 Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The Kumsong Tractor Factory in Nampho Municipality is an important factory playing a vanguard role in realizing the comprehensive mechanization of agriculture in the DPRK.
The factory has ultra-modern equipment and advanced production processes capable of manufacturing high-horsepower tractors and various kinds of efficient farm machines, a product exhibition hall and a gymnasium.
The factory turned into a modern one thanks to the warm loving care respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has shown to free the agricultural workers from difficult and labour-consuming work by developing the country's farm machine industry.
He indicated the orientation and ways of modernizing the factory and took important measures to push ahead with it.
On August 23, 2023, he visited the factory to learn in detail about its first-stage modernization and to indicate important issues that should not be overlooked in the next stage of modernization.
His field guidance served as a historic occasion when the targets for the factory's technical modernization were properly set.
As a result, the workers of the factory, scientists and technicians of relevant units and soldier-builders successfully completed the second-stage modernization of the factory.
Bearing in their minds the trust of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea that put forward the factory as the important one leading the development of the country's agricultural machine industry, the workers are making strenuous efforts to produce many more efficient farm machines as well as tractors. -0-
