International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026 Closes with Record SAR33 Million in Sales

   Riyadh, August 26, 2026, SPA -- The National Center for Falcons concluded the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026, held from August 5 to 25 at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, drawing over 90 breeding farms from 24 countries and generating total sales of more than 2,200 falcons worth SAR33 million.
   Center CEO Talal Al-Shamaisi said the auction brought together local and international breeders, falconers, and buyers in a specialized market, with a Mathlouth Gyr falcon selling for SAR1.3 million, the most expensive falcon sold this year and the second most expensive in the auction's history.
   He affirmed that these results reflect the auction's six-year growth trajectory, cementing its position as a global hub for falcon breeders and falconers. The center will continue to develop the auction and its programs while preserving the national falconry heritage.
   Accompanying activities included falconry equipment pavilions, the "Falconer of the Future" zone, awareness programs, and workshops on falconry competition regulations, breeding center licensing, and anti-doping measures.
