Songs of DPRK's Youth

 Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Many odes to the youth have been created and resounded in the course of the glorious development of the Korean revolution, adding to the pride and of the Korean youth and conveying their indomitable struggle and heroic feats.
After the founding of the Democratic Youth League, the first song of the youth was created to reflect the faith and will of the young people to take the lead in building a new, prosperous Korea, united under the banner of democracy.
In the days of the Fatherland Liberation War, the young people turned out annihilating the enemy, singing such songs as "Youth Guerrilla Army" and "March of Youth Peace Guardian" with their hearts burning with hatred at the enemy and a desire of vengeance. They thus celebrated the great victory in the war with fireworks in the sky of the country.
"We Are Proud of Our Youth", "March of Young Builders of Socialism", "We Are Successors to the Revolution", "Youth and Courage", etc., are the youth songs loved by the young people of the DPRK who performed miracles under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea in the years of postwar reconstruction, the great Chollima upswing and socialist construction.
Respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un's guidance in the new era of the Juche revolution has added glory to the life of the youth along with many new songs praising the youth.
"Life Story of Youth" and other songs reflect the strong desire to bring earlier the bright future of the country, demonstrating the might of the youth power. 
The "Song of Youth," dedicated to the youth across the country on the occasion of the Ninth Congress of the youth league, served as the song of march representing the great era, when the victorious advance of the socialist cause is accelerated, and as the driving force for creating new legendary tales about heroic youth.
The stirring songs of the youth in the new era clearly prove the greatness of the Party's idea of valuing the youth and its leadership that advance the Korean revolution by dint of such driving force as the inexhaustible strength of the young people united under the banner of patriotism and make sure that their lives and feats are eternally etched in the history of the country. -0-
