Construction of Haeju Schoolchildren's Palace Accelerated in S. Hwanghae Province
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- The construction of the Haeju Schoolchildren's Palace is progressing apace in South Hwanghae Province, according to Minju Joson.
The schoolchildren's palace, being built at the foot of Nam Hill in the central area of Haeju City, is a comprehensive modern schoolchildren's extracurricular education base with six-storeyed main building with various kinds of hobby group rooms, office rooms and hundreds of rooms and two-storeyed theatre and gymnasium capable of simultaneously hosting various art and sports group activities.
Officers and members of the provincial youth shock brigade are pushing ahead with building roofs and ceilings of the main building, theatre and gymnasium.
Given that the project has entered the final stage, the province focuses on providing equipment and fixtures necessary for management and operation of the palace and schoolchildren's extracurricular training and activities, while selecting the relevant personnel. -0-
