Foreign Minister receives special envoy for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor agreement project

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Ambassador Francesco Talò, Special Envoy for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor agreement project.

The meeting discussed updates on the project and its strategic importance in boosting economic and trade cooperation and linking supply chains between participating countries. They also discussed cooperation opportunities and how the project can support sustainable development and economic growth in the region.

They reviewed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s role in supporting regional and international initiatives that enhance economic partnerships and shared interests, and underline the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between both sides.
