Investment Ministry Hosts ScaleX Workshop to Foster Entrepreneurial Firms’ Growth in Saudi Arabia

   Riyadh, September 1, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Investment, in partnership with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), is hosting an eight-day workshop under the ScaleX program, bringing together several deep-tech companies from around the world.
   The workshop is taking place at the ministry’s headquarters, with participating companies from the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Germany, the People’s Republic of China, the Kingdom of Denmark, and Ireland. It is part of efforts to empower entrepreneurial companies and introduce them to Saudi Arabia’s investment ecosystem.
   Hosting the program builds on the strategic partnership between the ministry and KAUST and supports efforts to attract promising technology and research companies from around the world. It also seeks to connect their innovations with investment opportunities and the private sector, facilitate technology transfer and localization, and support the growth of these companies as they expand from Saudi Arabia into regional and global markets.
   In 2025, the program saw six companies enter the Saudi market, reflecting its impact on supporting global companies in establishing and growing their businesses in Saudi Arabia.
   The workshop features sessions introducing participants to services offered by Saudi Arabia’s investment ecosystem and highlighting opportunities across several sectors.
   Several government entities are also taking part to introduce their services and the support available to investors, helping facilitate the companies’ journey as they establish, grow, and expand their businesses in Saudi Arabia.
