KSrelief’s Masam Project Removes 819 Landmines Across Yemen in One Week

     Aden, September 1, 2026, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief)’s Masam Project for landmine clearance in Yemen removed 819 landmines and unexploded ordnance from various areas across Yemen during the fourth week of August 2026.
   The number of mines removed since the beginning of August has reached 10,099, bringing the total number removed since the launch of the Masam Project to 588,325.
   Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues its efforts to clear Yemeni territory of mines under the Masam Project, which enhances civilian safety and helps enable the Yemeni people to live safe and dignified lives.
